Correct Date and Time for “Lost Kingdom”: Sunday, March 11 at 12 p.m. EST
Looks like the scheduling madness is over. Both the trailer (which has changed a bit) and banner on Nick’s Winx webpage confirm that Secret of the Lost Kingdom will air Sunday, March 11 at 12 p.m. EST. (That’s a different time—it had been saying 1 p.m.)
TV Guide has also updated their listing:
No more “Wizards of the Black Circle,” but March 22 could be the date to watch for season four’s premiere. I’m predicting a trailer during or after the movie.
March 1 is tomorrow. Lots to look forward to!
TV Schedule Madness *UPDATE*
What’s wrong with this picture?
Answer: different air dates for Secret of the Lost Kingdom. Again. Which one’s correct? March 11, right?
Maybe not. I checked TVGuide.com for confirmation and saw this:
So we still have the March 11 air date, but now it’s at a different time? The movie trailer says 1 p.m. EST, so the listing’s wrong. Right?
When you click on it, this pops up:
The first episode of season four? And it’s an hour long?
Sigh.
Needless to say, someone at Nick has goofed spectacularly. Again. And it can’t be TV Guide’s fault, since someone has reported to Michael’s Winx Club about the same problem on Comcast XFinity’s schedule.
My guess: Secret of the Lost Kingdom will air on March 11 (as the trailer says) and season four will premiere on March 22.
But as you can see, you never know with Nick. We’ll have to keep watching for any changes.
*UPDATE* Hmmm…Nick has taken the trailer and banner down from the site again. That’s what they did last time they postponed the movie. Sigh. Here we go again.
See the JAKKS Pacific Bloom Believix Doll Up Close
Here’s a large picture of JAKKS Pacific‘s Bloom Believix doll.
After looking it over, I’m starting to like it more. Her eyes—they’re what bothered me before—aren’t so bad after all. Lots of glitter on her wings (not surprising). The only things I hate are the arm and leg joints. There are ways to make dolls posable without having them seem like robots, but I’m not the designer. And it won’t stop me from buying.
Take a look for yourself and post your review in the comments.

New Air Date for “Lost Kingdom”: Sunday, March 11 at 1 p.m. EST
Nickelodeon has moved Secret of the Lost Kingdom‘s premiere to Sunday, March 11 at 1 p.m. EST. A new trailer on the Winx webpage—the old trailer with the date changed—confirms it.
Let’s hope they don’t reschedule again.
“Secret of the Lost Kingdom” Premiere Cancelled
For some reason, Nick won’t be showing Secret of the Lost Kingdom this Sunday after all. The movie’s no longer advertised on their website or listed on TVGuide.com.
They really need to give us more warning about these schedule changes. Better yet, how about not announcing a date until it’s final?
Okay, it could be a “circumstances beyond our control” kind of thing. Let’s just hope they set an official air date soon.
(To be fair, BelieveInWinx, Winx-Fairies, and Michael’s Winx Club got this news out first.)
The Winx as Disney Princesses
Now this was a great idea. This masterpiece was created by KaoriMirai of the deviantArt community:
I’m sure you can name who each fairy is cosplaying, but in case not:
Bloom as Ariel (The Little Mermaid)
Stella as Aurora (Sleeping Beauty)
Flora as Belle (Beauty and the Beast)
Musa as Mulan (Mulan)
Aisha as Tiana (The Princess and the Frog)
Tecna as Snow White (Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs)
Roxy as Giselle (Enchanted)
I myself needed some help on the last one. At first I thought Roxy was Meg from Hercules, but she’s not a Disney princess. (Technically, neither is Mulan.)
My favorite “transformation?” I think Flora’s. She always looks so graceful no matter who draws her, and Belle is one of my favorite Disney princesses. And the rose was a perfect reference to both Beauty and the Beast and Flora’s magic.
KaoriMirai has more Winx art in her gallery. You can also click on the links above to see each fairy’s individual Disney princess pic.
Nick Debuts “The Secret of the Lost Kingdom” — Sunday, Feb. 26 at 12 EST *UPDATE*

How’s this for a treat? Finally, we get to see the first Winx Club movie in America! I hope a DVD release isn’t far away!
Nickelodeon has posted a trailer on the show’s page. If someone uploads it to YouTube, I’ll embed it here, but for now check it out there.
I have to say I’m super excited! I hated the Cinelume dub of the movie (if it even was Cinelume), so maybe this voice cast can do it justice. And this time, the terms and names should match the original. I was shocked that Cinelume used “Sparks” instead of Domino. A strange attempt to merge with the 4Kids dub, maybe?
Anyway, this is great news for Winx!
*UPDATE* Here’s the trailer, uploaded by BelieveInWinxTV.
Sneak Peek at the JAKKS Pacific Winx Club Dolls!
Don’t wanna wait until fall to see the new Winx Club dolls? Check out this video from TimeToPlayMag.com. JAKKS Pacific is showing off the dolls in New York City right now at Toy Fair 2012.
My take: the eyes are…off. But they’re not terrible.
What do you think? Love them? Hate them? How do they compare to the European dolls? Leave your review in the comments!

Winx Club Dolls at the Nuremberg Toy Fair
Here’s a video from Atamaii.com showing some dolls that were displayed at the February 2012 Nuremberg Toy Fair (Nuremberg, Germany). The good news: us North Americans will see dolls like these in stores this year, thanks to JAKKS Pacific. It’s been a while, hasn’t it?
Some of these lines were new to me. Have you seen them before?

Layla & Aisha pt. II: The Reverse
Well, I’m slow! I just noticed something interesting about this (no longer) new desktop background.
Not “Layla.” Aisha. (Of course, all her other wallpapers still say “Layla.”)
Maybe Rainbow will gradually switch to her original name, now that it’s used in the Nick dub.
It’s the opposite of their old problem. They let “Aisha” slip through on some pages, like on Flora’s profile page under “Best Friends.” No need to change it anymore.
Feels a bit like whiplash!
