Sneak Peek at the JAKKS Pacific Winx Club Dolls!
Don’t wanna wait until fall to see the new Winx Club dolls? Check out this video from TimeToPlayMag.com. JAKKS Pacific is showing off the dolls in New York City right now at Toy Fair 2012.
My take: the eyes are…off. But they’re not terrible.

At first I HATED them. But after watching the segment a few more times, they’re growing on me. The faces do remind me of the Italian dolls. The Believix ones… somewhat fail. At first glance, they look too plain, but the more I look at some of them the nicer they look. Aisha’s Believix doll fails. Hard. The hair, at least. The casual dolls are amazing. Best dolls out of the bunch. The concert dolls are okay, not the best, but better than the Believix.
The saddest part of this all? Despite their flaws, I’ll still be buying them. I’m that die-hard of a fan.
I have to say I still liked the Mattel Enchantix dolls the best. I have all 6 on a shelf in my old room at my parents’. As for these dolls they look more like Barbie dolls than the Mattel dolls I have. This could help here in North America where Barbies and Monster High are very popular. I wonder if the clothes will be interchangable with one or the other.
I am glad this wasn’t the other video where the guy didn’t know any of the character’s names, couldn’t be bothered to say HalloWinx and pronounced Lovix Loovix.
My older daughter will probably get some of these dolls for her birthday because it’s in September, around the same time these dolls are being released.
Yes, the Mattel Enchantix dolls are gorgeous! I like Stella’s doll most of all. I’ve always wanted one!
I got mine from my friend when they first came out. She used to do stock at Walmart and would take the ones she wanted, hide them until the store opened then bought them. Tecna, Musa and Layla were the hardest to get As per usual
From the Believix line, I think Tecna and Bloom look the best. It’s followed up by Musa, Flora, Stella, and finally Layla/Aisha for me. I really would have liked it if Aisha’s doll was a weeee (maybe a ton) more like how she looks in the animated series, but I will definitely buy them anyway because I’m that much of a dedicated fan like Sophia.
Love them. They look very beautiful and doll-like. My only concern is that as they will then stop producing the European ones, small Eurpean countries like mine will no longer a single Winx doll in stores. But I think they look WAY better the current European ones – of course as far as I’m concerned nothing Will ever beat Mattel
Nicer than the European dolls, but the Mattel ones were the prettiest.
well i have always loved the winx club. I have all the dolls ever made so im a big fan but the belivix dolls are better that the italian ones and the enchantix one r soooooooooooo not like the dolls!the italian one are better cause they come with 2 pairs of wings!but im still buying the belivix i love the bloom and stella ones they look soooo awesome and for my birthday im buying the concert stage and the flora doll i already ordered the bloom belivix and stella belivix and the flora one for my b-day so im soooooooooooooooooooooooo excited!and for christmas im getting the rest!
